Saturday Night Show Schedule

This is the schedule for the Saturday Night Show. Click here for the schedules for the other three shows and for the general festival/expo schedule.

Today I Have the Power (2015)  Directed by Jordan Baker  1 min
A film about awakening inner strength, “Today I have the Power” represents the transformation of a girl into a woman. The piece was created for the Girls on the Run® program in central Idaho to inspire individuals to join, and to educate the community on the benefits of this life altering experience for young girls.

The Forest (2015)  Directed by Dean Leslie  5 min
"The Forest" heads into the Giant Redwoods of Northern California with Anna Frost, Rickey Gates and Matt Flaherty and pays ode to the quiet moments of solitude and appreciation that only the wild can give us. Here's to the wild. Semi-Finalist for Best Cinematography

Kroger's Kanteen (2015)  Directed by Dean Leslie  8 min
In 2014, Kilian Jornet won the Hard Rock 100 mile run through the San Juan’s of Colorado. Along the way he stopped at Kroger’s Canteen – an aid station perched on a tiny ledge, 13,100ft above sea level. This is a story about that aid station, about the people that make it happen, and about the spirit one can only find at The Hard Rock 100. Semi-Finalist for Best Short

World Premier!!!  Ski Hardrock 100 (2016)  Directed by Schlarb-Wolf Productions  20 min
Prior to tying for the win with Kilian Jornet this summer at The Hardrock 100 this winter Jason Schlarb skied the entire race course! On this "never been done before" feat Jason was joined by fellow elite ultrarunner and Ski Mountaineer Paul Hamilton, the 2013 US Ski Mo Champ Scott Simmons and Noah Howell of PowderWhore fame did the filming. Saying it wasn't easy would be an understatement.

Wonderland: Gary Robbins' FKT Run Around Mt Rainier (2015)  Directed by The Ginger Runner  36 min
On July 1st, 2015, Gary Robbins - a seasoned and winning ultrarunner - started at Longmire, in the shadow of Mount Rainier, and attempted to set the fastest known supported time around the Wonderland Trail. Kyle Skaggs' record of 20 hours 53 minutes was always considered unbeatable. 93 miles, over 24,000ft of elevation gain, and record breaking heat. This day had it all. Could Gary step up to the challenge? Semi-Finalist for Best Feature, Best Cinematography, and Best Use of Humor

World Premier!!!  Endure (2016)  Directed by Jay Korff  1 hr 7 min
Endure chronicles the remarkable lengths one man was willing to go to help children with cancer while confronting his own demons. 33-time Emmy award-winning television reporter Jay Korff stepped behind the lens to shoot and direct an evocative film that exposes a national tragedy while honoring the struggle that too many children endure. Tom Mitchell competed in an arduous 200 mile ultra-marathon to raise awareness about the shameful lack of research dollars dedicated to battling childhood cancers. The power of this film isn't in the race but in the lives that inspired Tom to run. Semi-Finalist for Best Feature
