Our original Community Voices film from our May Virtual Edition show
We’re inviting runners from across the globe to submit one to two minutes of low-to-no skill camera or phone footage. These submissions will be compiled and edited by professional filmmaker Matt Trappe into a single stand alone piece intended to document a comprehensive global perspective around a specific theme.
The theme of this month’s show is ”Epic”. Whether it's a stretch of perfect single track with major alpine views or memories of some "type 2" fun in precarious places, everyone has epic trail running tales to tell, which is why we’re inviting each of you to participate in this month’s Community Voices project.
We want to hear from you:

The theme of this month’s show is ”Epic”. We want to hear from you:
- What's your epic trail running tale? What made it so?
- What outdoor location inspires you to dream of epic adventures and why?
- What type of planning do you put into your epic adventures? How does that enable the journey?
INSTRUCTIONS:
- We would like for you to give us two different types of video footage: Interview Footage and B-Roll Footage.
- In the interview footage tell us your name and where you live also tell us briefly an example of how you or someone you know has used trail running to overcome adversity or how you've over come adversity while trail running. Keep this footage to about one minute or less.
- In the b-roll footage, which is for our purposes, any footage that's not interview footage, shoot one or more short video clips that show you or someone else doing something that supports what you were talking about in your interview. And or take fun and or scenic shots of you or someone else running. Keep this footage to about one minute or less.
- For the best results and to increase your odds that we can use your videos read these "Tips from Trappe" and or watch the quick video below.
- Submit your videos via the form at the bottom of this page.
